FlashSpeed shows the dashboard after activation, but cleanup options remain under your control. Review each explanation, enable the optimizations that fit your site, and test after making changes. ### How much faster will my site become? There is no honest percentage that applies to every WordPress site. The result depends on your theme, plugins, existing optimization stack, page content, server, and which resources are actually present. FlashSpeed’s dashboard shows a conservative estimate of the known work its enabled rules can remove; use a browser performance tool before and after for observed results. ### Will FlashSpeed break my site? Any plugin that removes assets can affect functionality when a theme or integration depends on them. FlashSpeed keeps controls independent and explains the main compatibility risks. Enable settings one at a time, test important pages, and disable a rule if your site still needs that resource. ### Do I still need a caching plugin? FlashSpeed is not a page cache. It removes selected assets and markup, while caching plugins typically store or optimize generated pages and delivery. The two approaches can complement each other, but avoid enabling overlapping features without testing them. ### What’s the difference between Free and Pro? Free includes granular asset and markup cleanup, privacy/access hardening, site- wide Application Password disabling, administration basics, the cached security scanner, and Database diagnostics. Pro adds response-header configuration, Heartbeat and advanced comment/feed policies, administrator-only Application Passwords, role/ user targeting, administration controls, frontend rules, and WooCommerce asset/admin controls. Every Pro license includes the complete feature set; licenses differ only by the number of sites covered. ### Why does the dashboard call its numbers estimates? Installed file sizes and generated markup can be measured, but a visitor’s real transfer depends on compression, browser caching, conditional loading, the current page, and theme or plugin behavior. FlashSpeed reports potential uncompressed per- page savings and excludes values it cannot support reliably. ### Does disabling emojis save a request? Modern WordPress prints the emoji loader inline and only requests fallback assets when the browser needs them. FlashSpeed counts the known inline loader bytes in the weight estimate but does not claim a guaranteed request saving for conditional fallback files. ### What does “Remove Feed Links” do? It removes RSS and Atom discovery links from the page head. It does not disable the feeds themselves. ### Can I disable Google Fonts or Google Maps? Yes. FlashSpeed can block compatible resources enqueued through WordPress. It cannot guarantee interception of resources hard-coded by a theme, inserted by another script, or loaded inside an iframe. Confirm that your theme has suitable fallback fonts and that no map-powered feature is required. ### Does FlashSpeed improve Core Web Vitals? Removing unnecessary work can help performance, but FlashSpeed cannot guarantee a particular Core Web Vitals result. LCP, INP, and CLS also depend on hosting, theme layout, images, fonts, JavaScript execution, caching, and third-party services. ### Is FlashSpeed compatible with WooCommerce? FlashSpeed declares compatibility with WooCommerce HPOS, the product editor, Cart and Checkout blocks, and product object caching. Individual asset-removal choices can still affect extensions, so test your cart, checkout, account, and product pages after changing settings. ### Can I use FlashSpeed with page builders? FlashSpeed uses WordPress hooks rather than targeting a particular builder. Compatibility still depends on the assets each builder and add-on requires. Be especially careful with jQuery, Google Fonts, Google Maps, and embed removal. ### Can I keep jQuery on archives or custom routes? The searchable allowlist covers singular posts and pages. Developers can preserve jQuery in broader contexts with the `flashspeed_keep_jquery` filter; test every affected archive, route, form, and integration before removing jQuery elsewhere. ### Is FlashSpeed GDPR compliant? No plugin can make an entire website compliant by itself. FlashSpeed’s optimization settings do not add visitor analytics, but your site’s compliance depends on the services, content, custom code, and external resources you choose to use. ### Can agencies use FlashSpeed? Yes. Agencies receive the same complete Pro feature set and can choose a license sized for the number of client sites they manage. ### Do you offer support?
